Family Concierge

Dana Weaver serves as the Family Concierge for Generations Senior Living and helps families who are interested in moving into one of the Gereations homes. Dana has worked in the healthcare industry for over 40 years. She has held a current Administrator’s license in the state of Florida for over 20 years. Previously, she worked in nursing homes in Ohio, where she was awarded Caregiver of the Month for 16 consecutive months. She was a foster mother for critically ill and special needs infants for 11 years. When she moved to Florida in 1989, she secured a position with Leesburg Regional Medical Center as their Staffing Coordinator, and was quickly promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Patient Care Coordinator.

After 4 years she took a position with Florida Hospital Waterman Home Care Services as their Staffing Director, matching up qualified caregivers with elderly patients who needed care in their homes. She loved being able to spend time with the patients, listening to their life stories, and helping them to gain more independence in their lives.

In 1998, Dana was offered a position of managing 12 group homes in the Orlando area for adults with high-risk behaviors due to brain injury, developmental delays, and dementia. The company would often fly her to Indiana to open new group homes, and train staff.

She began working for an Assisted Living Facility in 2004 that specializes in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. She was an administrator over 3 facilities in Orange, Seminole, and Lake Counties. Dana was directly involved in a pilot project for Person Centered Care, which teaches us how to honor each resident’s personal choices and needs, no matter what stage of dementia they are experiencing. She went on to train many employees in this wonderful concept.

In her personal life, Dana has 5 grandchildren that she absolutely adores. She believes that caring for the elderly is her passion, and her calling in life. She is excited to utilize her experience and expertise with Generations Senior Living, and is looking forward to providing exceptional quality of care to your loved one. She leads our team with the philosophy that every little detail in our resident’s lives is important, to ensure that they feel special, validated, and surrounded with care, dignity, and love.

Dana is always be available to listen to any concerns, or suggestions, you may have, and to proactively put a plan in place to best serve your loved one’s needs, so that you can always feel assured that you made the right decision in entrusting your loved one’s care to Generations Senior Living.

Our Founder & Managing Partner

Adam Anthony is the founder and Managing Partner of Generations Senior Living.  He was inspired to bring the concept of Personalized Memory Care Assisted Living to serve residents of The Villages® community by witnessing his grandparents progress through different facilities as they aged and their requirements for care advanced.  Sometimes while visiting his grandparents he would find them placed in a wheelchair in a hallway alongside dozens of other residents watching TV for hours.  Other times he would visit and witness elderly men and women staring sadly and silently out their window and he would feel more should be done to engage them.  These experiences gave him a desire to change the way that Memory Care Assisted Living care is provided to residents.  Adam spent several years shadowing other assisted living operators before establishing Generations Senior Living in 2016 to provide high-quality care for seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Adam and his wife are parents to 4 boys who are now the 8th generation of native Floridians.  He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, watching sports, and reading a good book.

Adam has completed the CORE competency exam administered by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, in addition to countless hours of courses and training about assisted living and memory care subjects, including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and resident care.  Adam is a State of Florida certified Assisted Living Facility Administrator.

A private, family-owned company, Generations Senior Living offers the finest homes in senior lifestyle and living options in the Central Florida region.  Each resident has unique needs, and the Generations Senior Living homes are suited to meet the many stages of dementia that a senior may be experiencing.
