Kathy Earnest is the Administrator for Generations Senior Living’s two State of Florida licensed Assisted Living Facilities located near The Villages. Her healthcare industry experience spans over 4 decades, including several years as Executive Director of multiple large Central Florida-based assisted living and memory care facilities. Those that know Kathy can attest that no task is too big or too small for her, as she is always willing to jump right in to help. She absolutely loves our residents and they really are an extension of her family. Kathy has a tireless work ethic and is very passionate about delivering the best possible care for the residents of Generations Senior Living’s facilities. Kathy has been with Generations Senior Living since 2017.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Kathy moved to Central Florida in her youth and is a graduate of Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. She went on to attend Valencia Community College in Orlando. Even while married to a physician and raising her son and daughter, Kathy excelled professionally and was recognized through rapid promotion in the healthcare industry. Kathy first entered the assisted living industry because she realized that her talents and passion for serving others would be well served, working as Executive Director of a 65 bed extended congregate care assisted living facility in Ocala, Florida. She was then recruited to lead the turnaround of an under-performing 60 bed assisted living facility in Palm Coast, Florida, where she increased census by 50% within 6 months while maintaining deficiency-free through regular state inspections. Kathy once again was recruited to lead another opportunity as Executive Director of a smaller, 36 bed dedicated memory care facility in metro Atlanta, Georgia, where she helped expand the facility capacity to 44 beds. After several successful years in Georgia, Kathy was presented with an opportunity to move back to Central Florida and be closer to her children and grandchildren, as Resident Care Manager of a 54 bed memory care facility in Ocala, Florida.
Kathy has completed the CORE competency exam administered by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, in addition to countless hours of courses and training about assisted living and memory care subjects, including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and resident care. Kathy is a State of Florida certified Assisted Living Facility Administrator. We could not be more grateful to have her as part of our leadership team!
Our Founder & Managing Partner
Adam Anthony is the founder and Managing Partner of Generations Senior Living. He was inspired to bring the concept of Personalized Memory Care Assisted Living to serve residents of The Villages® community by witnessing his grandparents progress through different facilities as they aged and their requirements for care advanced. Sometimes while visiting his grandparents he would find them placed in a wheelchair in a hallway alongside dozens of other residents watching TV for hours. Other times he would visit and witness elderly men and women staring sadly and silently out their window and he would feel more should be done to engage them. These experiences gave him a desire to change the way that Memory Care Assisted Living care is provided to residents. Adam spent several years shadowing other assisted living operators before establishing Generations Senior Living in 2016 to provide high-quality care for seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Adam and his wife are parent to 4 young boys who are now the 8th generation of native Floridians. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, watching sports, and reading a good book.
